Environmental Policy

Addressing climate change is one of the most important issues being faced by businesses today. As such, here at Perrydown, we have firm beliefs that companies should do their part by acting responsibility within the framework of their business and strive towards a greener future.

As a leading edge company and to improve our environmental impact whilst ensuring we provide an efficient process for our production we have undertaken a project with the BERR Manufacturing Advisory Services (MAS) to review all practices and process within the business.

This joint project with Manufacturing Institute has enabled us to develop our production planning processes to become more “lean” which has enabled us to become more efficient and offer you our customers an improved and greater service.

One aspect of this review has been to reduced our waste levels to a minimum and introduce strict environmental provisions / standards to ensure segregation of any waste materials are maintained to improve the recycling provisions for the local council.

Our carbon footprint is being reduced with the impended introduction of improved environmentally friendly lighting throughout the factory.
